MEXTESOL Journal: Call for papers 2020

The MEXTESOL Journal ( www.mextesol.net ), a professional publication since 1976, is dedicated primarily to the EFL teacher in Mexico and the world. It is indexed by Scopus and Latindex. It is an online, open-access journal, and is published four times a year. There is no fee for either authors or readers.

Previously unpublished articles and reviews related to EFL teaching are accepted for publication in either English or Spanish. Articles can be either practical or theoretical in nature. The MEXTESOL Journal aims to be reader-friendly and to contribute to a general understanding of the processes of language teaching and learning while also supporting the growth of knowledge available to our profession.

REFEREED ARTICLES:

Researched-based or theoretical articles, which report original research, discuss research-related issues or present original interpretations of present or past concepts. This type ofarticle is read by two reviewers in blind arbitration. A note regarding the refereed status is included on the published article.

NON-REFEREED ARTICLES:

Non-refereed articles usually include reviews, descriptions of classroom practice which do not involve rigorous research (action research), interviews or any other previously unpublished articles relevant to EFL professionals. These articles are read by one
reviewer in blind arbitration.

Send your manuscript (in Microsoft Word) together with a statement clarifying whether you would like your submission to be refereed or non-refereed. Avoid using automatic referencing and formatting functions and apps. Include all the necessary contact information (affiliations and email addresses of all authors). The Journal has no deadlines and articles are admitted to the reviewing process year-round.
